GRAMA’S BUTTERSCOTCH COOKIES J
Serves 40 , 20 min-prep, 25 min-cook
1 cup margarine/shortening = crispy or ½ cup butter and ½ cup pureed beans = soft
½ cup sugar
1 cup Br. sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups oats
1 cup butterscotch chips
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Stir together the flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and oats.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Stir in the eggs and vanilla.
Blend in the flour mixture. Finally stir in the butterscotch chips.
Drop dough by spoonfuls (about tablespoon size) onto greased cookie sheets.
