Joseph Smith - an instrument of the Lord

God uses prophets as instruments in his hands.  He also uses flawed people like you and I! What kind of an instrument are you today in God's hands?

When Joseph Smith was 14 years old, he read James 1:5  ...If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God.   He asked God and received an answer! He saw God and His son, Jesus Christ!  God does still talk to us!  Without Joseph Smith, we wouldn't have the Book of Mormon or the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

The gospel of Christ is plain and simple enough for all to understand.  The atonement of Christ makes bad people good and good people better! Christ loves us beyond our comprehension and has given us many beautiful gifts to help us. The Holy Ghost is one of His gifts and it often speaks to us in a voice that we feel more than we hear.

Take a few minutes and think about (or write down) the blessings that have come to you and your family through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here's just a few
-Music
-Temple Sealings and ordinances
-Service
-Friendship
-Continuity
-The spirit to guide us (even if we don't understand why at the time)
-Family History
-Peace
-Comfort
-We know God's plan and what to expect

Don't just nibble... go on and Feast upon the words of Christ! When we feast, it's never alone, there's not only one serving, there's no end in sight, and it's often combined with a celebration!  Let's enjoy and share this wonderful feast of knowledge and peace so others can find the joy and comfort that we have found!

Remember, your future is as bright as your faith!  Be optimistic, because we know the Savior wins!
