Homemade Deodorant

Have y'all ever tried Homemade Deodorant?

Heather and Amy inspired this recipe.

Here's what works for me!
2 t. cornstarch ...(or arrowroot powder or tapioca starch/flour)
1 t. baking soda ...(Will diatomaceous earth work?)
1 t. tallow ...(or coconut oil, shea butter, or a blend of em)
Optional: smidge of vanilla extract  ...(or favorite essential oil)

Soften your fat of choice if it's not soft at room temperature (10 sec in the microwave?)
Stir in the baking soda and cornstarch.  Mix well and let cool.
I store mine in a small 2 oz. container.
Wipe a little (I use the size of 1/2 a pea) on my index finger and gently rub into my armpit area.
Repeat on other side.
If it gets warm, melts, and separates, just mix it together again with a toothpick.

I am so amazed that just a bit of this keeps me smelling great all day!
