In my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we have the equivalent of open-mic the first Sunday of each month. Anyone is welcome to come and share their thoughts, preferably focused on the Savior :)
I've lived in lots of places (ID, TX, FL, OK, LA, ND, AL, MS, CA, GA, UT, UT, and UT) and have picked up unique ways of pronouncing my words. When I'm uncomfortable, my words become more of a drawl. I knew that, but I was surprised for my boys to say that I was also using Sign Language :) Too fun! I'm so blessed to have lived in so many places and met so many amazing folks! Our world is amazing and I'm so thankful to be on this journey!
I was reminded this weekend that the purpose of life isn't to get everything done, but to enjoy each step along the way and live a life filled with love!
Try to take time today (even 30 seconds) to slow down and see the beauty around you!
