Sheree's deviation from Bree's best Granola

Part 1 (dry ingredients)

 4 c. rolled oats

1 c. nuts and or seeds

1/2 c. coconut -unsweetened

1/4 t. salt

1/2 t. cardamom or 1 t. cinnamon

1/4 c. cornmeal or whole wheat flour

Part 2 (wet ingredients)

1/2 c. bean puree or apple sauce or fruit puree (140 g.)

1/4 c. oil (56 g.)

1/4 c. honey (50 g.)

1 t. vanilla extract (try other flavors)

Mix all together and spread on silicone mat on cookie sheet. Bake 350 for 10 min. Stir, cook 11-14 minutes.  Remove from oven and place the pan on cooling rack.

Add 2/3 c. raisins or dried fruit of choice. 

Let cool 45 min. 

Store in sealed container.
