Boil 4 qt. chopped spuds, drain. (Save the liquid to make bread) Mash.
While spuds are cooking...
Saute:(add water if needed to finish caramelizing) blend til smooth.
1 T. butter.
1 yellow onion, diced
4 cloves of garlic, minced
Melt 1 cube butter and mix with sautéed onion and garlic. Add all to mashed spuds.
Add and mix thoroughly...
2 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
2-3 c. milk
2 c. shredded cheese
Mix well. Add milk, to create the consistency you want. Enjoy.
